About The Position

The Senior Director, Client Partner is responsible for building executive trust, access, and insight to uncover opportunities beyond the current scope of complex enterprise accounts. The role develops deep executive relationships, understands clients’ broader business strategies and challenges, and connects those needs to Conduent capabilities to create measurable growth. The successful candidate engages clients in discovery before a formal RFP or buying process, identifies important business problems and emerging needs, and brings relevant Conduent expertise into discussions early. The role includes shaping multi-year account growth strategies, developing qualified whitespace and expansion pipeline, and progressing opportunities with discipline. The position is remote, with a hybrid schedule expected for candidates who live within 50 miles of Conduent’s Florham Park, New Jersey; Atlanta, Georgia; or Fort Lauderdale, Florida offices.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success leading executive-level discovery conversations that uncover needs outside the current contracted scope.
  • Documented track record of creating new opportunities within existing enterprise accounts, beyond managing or renewing existing revenue.
  • Ability to convert complex business problems into solution hypotheses and mobilize solutions, product, sales, and operational resources to address client needs.
  • Strong commercial curiosity and ability to understand client business models, industry dynamics, competitive pressures, strategic priorities, and financial drivers.
  • Ability to establish trusted relationships in which senior executives seek the candidate’s advice, perspective, and problem-solving support.
  • Ability to challenge client thinking constructively and help shape future priorities rather than simply respond to stated requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Builds genuine executive trust rather than transactional relationships.
  • Understands clients’ businesses well enough to ask insightful questions that clients find valuable.
  • Identifies important business problems and opportunities before an RFP.
  • Brings the right Conduent capabilities and expertise into client conversations.
  • Converts trust, insight, and access into pipeline, expansion, retention, and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic discovery conversations with senior executives about enterprise priorities, transformation agendas, financial pressures, operational challenges, technology roadmaps, and emerging needs beyond current delivery.
  • Translate client challenges into solution hypotheses and growth opportunities, engaging appropriate Conduent solutions, product, sales, and operational experts before a formal buying process begins.
  • Build authentic, mutually valuable executive relationships so clients seek the candidate’s perspective and involve Conduent early in strategic and problem-solving discussions.
  • Develop relationships across functions, business units, geographies, and executive levels to establish broad organizational trust.
  • Identify whitespace growth opportunities by mapping broader client needs to Conduent capabilities beyond current contracted services.
  • Shape a multi-year growth thesis for each strategic account, including client priorities, addressable problems, executive sponsors, competitive positioning, and revenue pathways.
  • Proactively create opportunities rather than relying solely on client-generated RFPs, renewals, or Sales Executive-led pursuits.
  • Develop qualified whitespace and expansion pipeline and create opportunities across multiple Conduent capabilities to grow revenue beyond the original scope.
  • Build relationships across executives, functions, and buying centers, and open doors for Conduent leaders and subject-matter experts.
  • Earn early involvement in strategic discussions and emerging challenges before requirements or RFPs are fully defined.
  • Maintain a clear account growth thesis, progress opportunities with discipline, forecast accurately, and mobilize resources around high-value problems.
