About The Position

The Senior Director, Client Partner builds trusted executive partnerships and uncovers growth opportunities within complex enterprise accounts. The role goes beyond managing existing business by developing the trust, access, and insight needed to identify opportunities outside current contracted scope. It involves understanding clients’ broader strategies and challenges and connecting those needs to Conduent capabilities to create measurable growth. The position engages clients in discovery conversations before formal RFPs or buying processes begin, identifies important business problems and emerging needs, and brings the appropriate Conduent expertise into discussions early. It develops account growth strategies, builds qualified expansion pipeline, and progresses opportunities with discipline while mobilizing resources around high-value client problems. The position may be performed remotely. Candidates living within 50 miles of the Florham Park, New Jersey; Atlanta, Georgia; or Fort Lauderdale, Florida offices are expected to work a hybrid schedule.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success leading executive-level discovery conversations that uncover needs outside current contracted scope.
  • Documented track record of creating new opportunities within existing enterprise accounts, beyond managing or renewing existing revenue.
  • Ability to convert complex business problems into solution hypotheses and mobilize solutions, product, sales, and operational resources to address client needs.
  • Strong commercial curiosity and ability to understand client business models, industry dynamics, competitive pressures, strategic priorities, and financial drivers.
  • Ability to establish trusted relationships in which senior executives seek the position holder’s advice, perspective, and problem-solving support.
  • Ability to challenge client thinking constructively and help shape future priorities rather than simply respond to stated requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Executive relationship builder who develops genuine trust rather than transactional relationships.
  • Curious strategist who understands the client’s business and asks insightful questions clients find valuable.
  • Opportunity creator who identifies important business problems and opportunities before there is an RFP.
  • Solution orchestrator who brings the right Conduent capabilities and expertise into client conversations.
  • Commercial closer who converts trust, insight, and access into pipeline, expansion, retention, and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic discovery conversations with senior executives to understand enterprise priorities, transformation agendas, financial pressures, operational challenges, technology roadmaps, and emerging needs beyond current delivery.
  • Translate client challenges into solution hypotheses and growth opportunities, engaging appropriate Conduent solutions, product, sales, and operational experts before formal buying processes begin.
  • Build authentic, mutually valuable executive relationships so clients seek the position holder’s perspective and involve Conduent early in strategic and problem-solving discussions.
  • Develop relationships across functions, business units, geographies, and executive levels to create broad organizational trust rather than relying on a single sponsor.
  • Identify whitespace growth opportunities by mapping broader client business needs to Conduent capabilities beyond current contracted services.
  • Shape a multi-year growth thesis for each strategic account, including client priorities, addressable problems, executive sponsors, competitive positioning, and revenue pathways.

  • Develop qualified whitespace and expansion pipeline and create opportunities across multiple Conduent capabilities to grow revenue beyond the original scope.
  • Build relationships across executives, functions, and buying centers and open doors for Conduent leaders and subject-matter experts.
  • Earn early involvement in strategic discussions and emerging challenges before requirements or RFPs are fully defined.
