About The Position

TekWissen is recruiting a Senior D365 Field Service Functional Consultant for a six-month temporary assignment in Parsippany, New Jersey. The role is onsite and focuses on hands-on functional consulting for Dynamics 365 Field Service, with additional experience in Dynamics 365 Sales and Marketing. The consultant will work directly with operational and technical stakeholders and support the full solution lifecycle, from design and process discovery through production support. This is a hands-on functional role, not primarily a requirements-coordination or project-management position.

The consultant will own functional design, fit-gap analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, solution validation, configuration, and troubleshooting. The work includes Field Service work orders, incident types, resources, scheduling, inspections, mobile, security, workflows, and integrations with mobile solutions, integration services, transportation systems, data platforms, and other applications. The role also supports testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare, multi-site rollout, and transition to operations, while promoting a standard-first approach and challenging unnecessary customization.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of Dynamics 365 functional consulting experience with hands-on Customer Engagement (CE) and Field Service expertise.
• Deep knowledge of Field Service work orders, scheduling, inspections, mobile, security, workflows, and configuration.
• Strong understanding of Dataverse, Power Platform, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Experience with Dynamics integrations and the full lifecycle from design through production support.
• Strong functional troubleshooting skills and ability to work directly with operational and technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on functional expertise; the role is not primarily focused on requirements coordination or project management.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Sales and Marketing applications.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, terminal, warehouse, manufacturing, or field operations.
• Experience with global or multi-site deployments and Field Service Mobile/offline scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Lead readiness for SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
• Support multi-site rollout and transition to operations.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and work directly with operational and technical stakeholders.
