About The Position

JAMES PERSE is hiring a full-time Senior Client Advisor for its Montecito, California location. The role focuses on client development and sales while setting an example in customer service, visual merchandising, and operational standards. When store management is absent, the Senior Client Advisor oversees the store and staff as the most senior presence in the store. The position pays $20.00 per hour plus commission on personal net sales. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Prior experience in a retail or boutique store dealing with high-end goods and clientele-oriented sales.
Experience working in retail environments that operate seven days a week and require open scheduling availability based on business needs.
Outgoing, energetic, and professional demeanor, with the ability to represent and convey the James Perse brand lifestyle.
Strong verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong independent work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a high level of integrity.
Ability to handle customer interactions and potential issues or concerns courteously and professionally.

Responsibilities

Achieve daily, monthly, and annual sales targets and key performance indicators.
Establish client relationships and manage communications consistent with James Perse.
Set an example for exceptional customer service, client experience, and store standards.
Maintain the selling floor, merchandise, visuals, and store standards.
Maintain and grow existing client relationships and reach new prospects through networking and outreach.
Support operational tasks and projects.
Open and close the store and conduct opening and closing procedures.
Maintain local market knowledge of the clientele base and brand competitors.
Participate in special events and projects as needed, such as sample sales and physical inventory.
Follow store and company procedures while maintaining operational and client experience excellence.
Oversee the store and staff when store management is absent.
Perform other duties as assigned.
