Vital Delivery Solutions•Woburn, MA
•$0 - $150,000

About The Position

Vital Delivery Solutions (VDS) is hiring a Senior Business Development Executive to lead healthcare-focused growth in the Northeast corridor. VDS provides same-day healthcare logistics across New England and is expanding into healthcare, laboratory, and other mission-critical delivery markets. The role reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for opening major institutional accounts. The executive will own new business development across hospital systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), independent and reference laboratories, blood banks, hospital pharmacies, and specialty clinics. They will sell VDS’s delivery and logistics services, including dedicated daily routes, STAT on-demand courier services, laboratory specimen transport, pharmaceutical distribution, supply chain delivery consolidation, and climate-controlled warehousing. A central part of the role is presenting VDS as a single delivery partner that can consolidate fragmented departmental services across a health system. The position includes building and managing a qualified sales pipeline, developing territory plans and revenue milestones, leading RFP responses and negotiations, and maintaining relationships with healthcare decision-makers. The executive will work with operations leadership on onboarding, route design, and service delivery, while also gathering market intelligence and representing VDS at industry events. Compensation includes a base of $150,000 and a commission plan with quotas and kickers based on a gross profit matrix.

Requirements

  • Develop and execute a territory plan with 90-day, six-month, and 12-month revenue milestones.
  • Lead RFP responses, pricing proposals, and contract negotiations with procurement, supply chain, and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Use existing relationships with lab directors, pharmacy directors, materials management leaders, and supply chain VPs to open doors and accelerate sales.
