About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Operations supports and enhances operational initiatives by managing project plans, timelines, and deliverables. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify root causes, recommend process and tool improvements, communicate with stakeholders, drive project execution, and implement scalable best practices. It contributes operational guidance, monitors progress, and supports business objectives while upholding company values and compliance standards.

Within the Marketplace Screening team, the role supports screening, onboarding, and identity capabilities for a trusted and efficient marketplace across global markets. It partners with Business SMEs, Operations, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and vendors, with a focus on operational readiness, troubleshooting, and post-launch support. Acting as the Voice of Operations, the Senior Analyst identifies and resolves workflow gaps and vendor issues and helps establish structured vendor feedback loops. Spanish proficiency is required; French is preferred.

The position is based at Walmart’s Sunnyvale, California location. The annual salary range is $78,000 to $143,000, with additional annual or quarterly performance bonuses and, for certain positions, stock.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations and business analysis, with strong data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables while coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in identifying root causes, recommending solutions, and driving operational improvements.
• Strong communication skills for engaging stakeholders and conveying project status and requirements.
• Knowledge of compliance risk and policy change processes.
• Proficiency in prioritization, impact assessment, and requirements elicitation.
• Experience collaborating with product management, merchandising, and engineering teams.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, or 2 years of experience in operations, project management, or a related area.
