About The Position

ClickHouse is seeking a Senior AR Analyst to own billing and collection activities as the company scales. The role helps ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of billing, collections, and downstream revenue reporting as ClickHouse prepares for public-company readiness. The analyst works cross-functionally with Revenue Accounting, Sales, Engineering, and other Operations teams to build scalable processes and workflows.

The position covers end-to-end invoicing and collections for pay-as-you-go and prepaid commit customers, recurring and usage-based billing across subscription, invoicing, and payment-term configurations, and ongoing process and system improvement. It also supports accounting close, reporting, audit requirements, and user acceptance testing for new products, pricing, and business initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of progressive billing and collections experience at a SaaS or technology company.
• Experience with marketplace platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and related reports.
• Experience with automation tools and ERP systems such as NetSuite, Stripe, or Salesforce CPQ.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret complex contracts and data sets.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present information clearly.
• Experience executing internal controls and maintaining documentation to support audit and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end invoicing and collections activities for pay-as-you-go and prepaid commit customers.
• Support recurring and usage-based billing models across systems and varied subscription, invoicing, and payment-term configurations.
• Drive system and process improvements, including AI adoption, automation initiatives, and integrations to streamline workflows.
• Maintain AR health through proactive aging reviews, collections coordination with the sales team, and timely resolution of billing inquiries.
• Propose quarter-end write-off recommendations and own AR reporting, including aging analysis, allowance for doubtful accounts, and related GL reconciliations.
• Support monthly accounting close activities, including contract review, usage validation, invoice verification, journal entries, reconciliations, and analytics.
• Support external audit requirements and manage PBC requests related to billing operations.
• Support user acceptance testing for new SKU creation, product launches, pricing models, and business initiatives.
