Senior Account Manager, Banking & Investing

Launch Potato•Jersey City, NJ
•$150,000 - $170,000

About The Position

Launch Potato is seeking a hands-on Partnerships & Business Development expert to grow banking, deposits, and investing partners and bring on new partners. Approximately 70–80% of the role focuses on growing existing partners through larger budgets, better economics, and broader distribution; the remaining work involves acquiring new partners, primarily through warm relationships, with outbound outreach especially on the investing side. The Senior Account Manager works alongside the Head of Partnerships, who focuses on the largest strategic partners. The role owns the operations for those strategic accounts and has full operational and strategic responsibility for other banking, deposits, and investing partners. The position connects partner needs to placements across FinanceBuzz and Launch Potato’s publisher network and contributes to developing the strategy for these categories. The goal is to work closely with the Head of Partnerships during the first 90 days and operate independently by about day 120. The role combines account growth, partner operations, business development, negotiation, and coordination with internal teams. It manages partner campaigns from onboarding through optimization, develops proposals and new-partner opportunities, and maintains accurate pipeline and forecasts. Compensation is a base salary of $150,000 to $170,000, set according to level and expertise based on initial interviews, plus an annual bonus based on company EBITDA and personal performance. There is no commission.
