Senior Account Manager, Banking & Investing

Launch Potato•Austin, TX
•$150,000 - $170,000•Remote

About The Position

Launch Potato is seeking a hands-on partnerships and business development professional to grow banking, deposits, and investing partnerships and establish new ones. Approximately 70–80% of the role focuses on expanding existing partners through larger budgets, improved economics, and broader distribution; the remainder focuses on acquiring new partners, primarily through warm relationships, with outbound outreach particularly relevant on the investing side. The role works alongside the Head of Partnerships, who focuses on the largest strategic partners. The Senior Account Manager will handle operations for those strategic partners and own the rest of the banking, deposits, and investing portfolio both operationally and strategically. The position connects partner needs with placements across FinanceBuzz and Launch Potato’s publisher network, and helps shape the strategy for these categories. The Head of Partnerships will work closely with the hire during the first 90 days, with a goal of independent ownership by about day 120. The role is responsible for growing existing accounts, managing partner operations, developing proposals, maintaining forecasts and pipeline information, and sourcing and launching new partners. Success includes improving existing partner budgets and economics, bringing new banking and investing advertisers live, and enabling the Head of Partnerships to focus on the company’s largest strategic deals. Launch Potato describes itself as a profitable, bootstrapped discovery and conversion company with a South Florida headquarters and a remote-first team across 18 countries. The stated base compensation is $150,000–$170,000, set according to level and expertise based on initial interviews. Annual bonus is tied to company EBITDA and personal performance; there is no commission.
