About The Position

Chainguard is hiring a full-stack, technical Senior Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Manager to own its ABM program end to end. The role begins by creating bespoke 1:1 and 1:few programs for strategic enterprise and regulated accounts, then builds the operating model and automation to scale successful programs to 1:many. This is a hands-on builder role: the manager will launch ads, build pages and workflows, analyze data, and use agents and automation wherever practical. The role partners closely with Sales and is accountable for shaping account plans and reporting shared performance measures. The manager will set strategy and execute campaigns for top enterprise and regulated accounts across new business, deal acceleration, and expansion. They will create repeatable playbooks, target account lists, tooling, and measurement practices, and build AI-powered workflows for account research, signal capture, personalized outreach, and multichannel orchestration. They will coordinate with Sales, BDR, and Partner teams on account plans, program follow-up, and rep enablement, while measuring and reporting results with Marketing Operations.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of B2B marketing experience, including at least 2 years running ABM programs at a SaaS, security, or infrastructure company.
  • Experience shipping end-to-end cross-channel campaigns that produced pipeline.
  • Full-stack execution experience across paid media, web, email, and marketing automation, working without waiting on a large supporting team.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, and Clay or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with intent data and comfort writing SQL against BigQuery to answer questions independently.
  • Experience applying agents, LLM APIs, or advanced automation to real marketing problems, with an AI-first approach to scaling.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs while being creative in 1:1 account marketing.
  • Credibility with technical and security buyers and sales leadership.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and take a hands-on approach.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience marketing to regulated industries or the public sector, such as FedRAMP, financial services, or healthcare.
  • Familiarity with the cloud-native and open source ecosystem, including Kubernetes, containers, and software supply chain security.
  • Experience building and managing CDP-driven audience pipelines, including audience syncs, match-rate optimization, and suppression workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own ABM strategy and execution for top enterprise and regulated accounts across new business, deal acceleration, and expansion.
  • Design and launch 1:1 and 1:few campaigns across paid digital, web, email, gifting, and executive events, with messaging for CISOs, security engineering, and platform leaders.
  • Create playbooks, target account lists, tooling, and measurement frameworks to make ABM programs repeatable and scalable from a small number of accounts to 1:many.
  • Build, experiment with, productionize, and document agents and workflows using Clay, HubSpot, Hightouch, and custom internal applications to research accounts, capture signals, personalize outreach, and orchestrate multichannel programs.
  • Develop joint account plans with Sales, sales leadership, BDRs, and Partners; coordinate program follow-up and provide rep enablement.
  • Define KPIs for pipeline, penetration, engagement, and acceleration, and report program impact with Marketing Operations using Omni and BigQuery.

Benefits

  • Remote-first flexible culture with team meetup opportunities, bi-annual destination summits, and a monthly stipend for coworking spaces, phone, and internet costs.
  • Stock options upon hire and promotion, participation in secondary offerings, and 10 years to exercise options.
  • 100% coverage of health, vision, and dental insurance premiums for employees and dependents.
  • Flexible time off.
  • Paid parental leave: 18 weeks for birthing parents and 12 weeks for non-birthing parents, usable at once or throughout the child's first year.
