About The Position

Public Storage is hiring a Property Manager to provide customer service and manage operations across multiple self-storage locations. The role works independently at multiple properties, both indoors and outdoors, and includes flexible, full-time schedules between 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., with weekend hours until 5 p.m. The listed pay is $14.50 per hour. Property Managers may earn performance-based bonuses.

Requirements

• Experience in a customer-service-centered sales environment; successful candidates may come from retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Use of a personal vehicle to travel between work locations and/or conduct other work-related business.
• Ability to lift, move, or transport items weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to walk around facilities, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.

Responsibilities

• Assess customers’ storage needs and recommend suitable options, including selling packing and moving supplies.
• Inspect storage units daily to verify inventory and availability and ensure spaces are ready to rent.
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits.
• Help customers stay current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.
• Travel between multiple work locations and perform work-related tasks at different properties.
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance, including sweeping and mopping interior areas and keeping exterior grounds clean and free of debris.
