About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Supervisor in Chicago, Illinois. The role involves monitoring security systems and screens to identify threats and suspicious activity, documenting incidents, responding to potential threats, and helping protect people and property. The supervisor also conducts patrols, controls access to secure areas, checks for security-system vulnerabilities or malfunctions, and collaborates with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.

This is a full-time, first-shift position with a Monday-through-Friday schedule from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The hourly wage is $27.50. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Hold a valid Illinois PERC.
• Have at least two years of experience as a security supervisor.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.
