About The Position

GDI is seeking a responsible, dependable Security Supervisor to help ensure safety and security at its premises. The ideal candidate is alert, professional, and reliable. The role includes monitoring and patrolling the property, documenting and communicating events, preparing weekly schedules, and responding to security or facility concerns. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, the military, law enforcement, or another related field.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Ability to handle a light physical workload and stand and/or walk assigned patrols.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet and continuously maintain grooming standards.
• Have a reliable means of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or violations of rules.
• Complete detailed reports.
• Prepare weekly schedules.
• Review reports and communicate effectively.
• Use a computer proficiently.
• Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure they function properly and provide security.
• Warn violators about premises rules and regulations.
• Report facility issues, such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
• Use provided software to annotate events occurring during the shift.
• Make regular trips around the property and scan predetermined points as directed by management.
• Work as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
