This role is responsible for ensuring the safety of associates and patrons by regulating and correcting situations that could lead to accidents or injuries. The Security Supervisor enforces NY State lottery rules and regulations of the NYS Racing & Wagering Board, maintaining a safe work and customer environment. This position also involves assisting the manager with disciplinary actions, scheduling post assignments to ensure compliance with state laws and facility regulations, and reviewing all shift paperwork. The supervisor is responsible for enforcing security procedures and leading by example in customer service and positive interactions with associates. They must demonstrate skill in handling customer complaints, patrol buildings and grounds, examine security measures, and control entry/exit points. Additionally, the role includes overseeing new hire and frontline training, assisting in the employee review and performance appraisal process, and acting as a role model for the company's guest service program. Other duties may be assigned.
