About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking an Armed Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services during an assigned shift at a customer site in Atlanta, Georgia. The supervisor acts as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and security officers. The role includes supervising staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The starting pay is $23.34 per hour.

Requirements

• Prior leadership or military experience is required.
• Prior leadership experience and the ability to train others.
• Must be detail-oriented and compliance- and policy-driven.
• Must be comfortable walking throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Administer site safety programs describing site-specific hazards for security officers, including construction-area safety.
• Enforce Allied Universal policies as outlined in handbooks and executive memos.
• Oversee job-related and ongoing training for security officers, including client-based initial and annual computer training and instruction on client systems.
• Communicate client special coverage requests, security professional time-off requests, position openings, and staffing needs to the Operations Manager.
• Address employee concerns and disciplinary issues.
• Implement and enforce client-specific security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security patrols and premises inspections.
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and access control systems.
• Respond promptly to security alarms and incidents.
• Investigate security breaches and suspicious activities.
• Document incidents and prepare reports for the Operations Center.
• Coordinate and maintain open communication with clients, Allied Universal management, and security officers.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the client and Operations Manager on day-to-day operations.
• Brief staff on security protocols, new procedures, and other important information.
• Train security personnel and remain comfortable walking throughout the shift.
