About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role also includes supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver record check may also be required.
• For driving positions: valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record meeting the stated criteria, required minimum insurance, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Applicable licensing requirements may apply before employment, depending on state or local laws and regulations.
