About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The stated pay rate is $22.74 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally and effectively with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs frequently in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Any required licensing must be obtained in accordance with applicable state or local laws and regulations.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test as a condition of employment; a driver’s record check may also be required.
• For driving positions: valid driver’s license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record as specified in the posting, insurance meeting company policy, and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
