About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Security Site Supervisor in Redwood City. The supervisor coordinates the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site and serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role supervises staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

The position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at $35.00 per hour. Duties also include enforcing contract standards and company policies, administering site safety programs, and using scheduling and billing software to produce and interpret reports for effective business management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs frequently in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver record check may also be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use client-specific wireless technology.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in cold, rainy, snowy, or hot conditions.
• Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally climb stairs, ramps, or ladders.
• Ability to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Enforce contract standards.
• Administer site safety programs that outline site-specific hazards for security officers, including vehicle and driving safety as appropriate to corporate procedures.
• Participate in unemployment hearings as prepared.
• Use scheduling and billing software and produce reports that require interpretation and action for effective business management.
• Enforce Allied Universal policies outlined in handbooks and executive memos.
