About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. Responsibilities include supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The position pays $20.79 per hour and is scheduled from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal professionally and effectively with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Complete any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• Complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver's record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Handle client-site crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• For driving positions: have a valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record meeting the stated criteria, the minimum insurance required by company policy, and the ability to operate a required vehicle safely.

Responsibilities
