About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer for a shopping center in San Diego, California. The role emphasizes customer service and building meaningful connections while helping visitors feel reassured and confident. Officers welcome and guide visitors, manage access, patrol the property, respond to incidents, and help protect people and property. Three full-time swing-shift openings are listed, with schedules that include Saturday and Sunday and varying combinations of weekdays. The first opening is scheduled Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.; the second is Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday; and the third is Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Be proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
