About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer for a shopping center in San Diego, California. The role emphasizes customer service and building connections with visitors while helping maintain a safe environment. The officer welcomes and guides visitors, verifies identities, manages access, conducts patrols, responds to incidents, and communicates security concerns. Three full-time swing-shift schedules are listed: Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday; or Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Be proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
