Elite Security Officer Shopping Center Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring an Elite Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a retail location in Midland, Texas. This part-time armed patrol position involves driving and conducting vehicle and foot patrols to deter security-related incidents. The officer will maintain a visible presence, respond professionally to situations, provide customer service, and communicate clearly while supporting Allied Universal’s team-focused and integrity-driven culture. The schedule is Monday from 12:00 PM to 5:45 PM, and Tuesday and Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
- Drug screening, to the extent permitted by law.
- Applicable licensing requirements may need to be met prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by following security procedures and site-specific policies and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the exterior perimeter to deter theft, unauthorized activity, and other security concerns.
- Monitor access points and customer and employee activity; report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and incidents according to site procedures.
- Complete required reports and maintain accurate activity logs.
- Collaborate with store leadership and Allied Universal personnel.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
