About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Patrol Driver Security Officer for a retail shopping center in Tustin, California. The officer will safeguard the site by conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and helping create a welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and visitors. The driving post requires a valid driver’s license. The role involves customer service, professional communication, and responding to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, teamwork, and care. The position is scheduled for day shift, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and client representatives by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols throughout retail common areas, parking structures, exterior walkways, and the surrounding perimeter, reporting unusual activity or conditions.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations; contact appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
Monitor access points and activity throughout the location, and document incidents, observations, and daily activities according to site procedures.
Help maintain an orderly and welcoming environment by providing directions, supporting traffic and parking flow, and communicating professionally with the public and site personnel.
