About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver for a manufacturing and industrial location in Santa Ana, California. The role serves and safeguards employees, visitors, and contractors by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting a welcoming environment. The position requires a valid driver’s license and strong communication and customer service skills. Pay is $24.50 per hour, and the schedule has not yet been assigned; it will be determined during hiring, onboarding, and training based on business needs. The role is expected to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior work areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and contractor access according to site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, policy violations, and other security-related observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
