About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer Patrol Driver for a government site in Santa Ana, California. The role is at a manufacturing and industrial location and involves driving as part of the post. The officer helps safeguard employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site security procedures, maintaining a visible presence, conducting patrols, monitoring access, and responding to incidents. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy. The position pays $26.00 per hour and requires at least 30 hours per week; the specific schedule will be assigned based on business needs during hiring, onboarding, and training.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to applicable state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and following visitor and contractor entry procedures; report access-control irregularities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Accurately document observations, patrol activities, incidents, and security concerns in required reports and logs.
