About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Harbor City, California. The officer monitors security systems and surveillance screens to identify threats and suspicious activity, documents observations, responds to incidents, and helps protect people and property. The role also includes conducting patrols, controlling access to secure areas, checking visitor identities, identifying security-system vulnerabilities or malfunctions, and collaborating with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.

The position is offered on part-time schedules: Thursday through Monday, 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; or Sunday and Monday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Tuesday and Wednesday, 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The listed wage is $22.50 per hour. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Have strong customer service skills.
• Hold a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and complete the additional 32 hours of BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
