About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Security Retail Officer in Harbor City, California. The officer monitors security systems and premises, identifies suspicious activity and potential threats, documents incidents, responds to emergencies, and helps protect people and property. The role includes access control, patrols, reviewing systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions, and coordinating with law enforcement during serious situations. A uniform is provided at no cost. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Have strong customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• A state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training can be obtained during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports.

• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure premises are safe.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
