About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer at a bank in Revere, Massachusetts. The officer will safeguard the financial institution by providing customer service, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, supporting access control, and assisting employees, visitors, and customers. The role includes maintaining a visible security presence, observing and reporting concerns, and responding professionally to incidents and emergency situations. The schedule is Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Starting pay is $23.00 per hour. Paid orientation and paid training are provided.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter; identify unusual activity and report concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures and authorized-entry requirements.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, notify appropriate personnel, and document activities as required.
Observe and report security concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations at the financial institution.
