Security Officer Bank Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to patrol a bank in Boston, Massachusetts. The officer will monitor and patrol banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter; maintain a visible presence; support access control; and help deter unauthorized activity. The role also provides customer service and clear communication to employees, visitors, and customers while supporting a welcoming environment and responding to incidents and emergency situations. The schedule is Monday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Thursday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The pay rate is $23.00 per hour. Paid orientation and paid training are offered. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site-specific security procedures and policies and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and report unusual activity, facility concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and communicate observations, incidents, and requests for assistance to appropriate personnel.
