About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for bank patrol duties. The role serves and safeguards clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate. Officers respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach, and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pay is $20.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law. Licensing requirements depend on applicable state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Requirements

• For this posting, have a valid Utah driver's license held for over one year and a clean driving record.
• Be at least 21 years of age for the role described.
• Have at least two years of security experience.
• For unarmed roles, be at least 18 years of age; for armed roles, be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Undergo a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
