About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a financial institution in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, you will help safeguard employees, customers, visitors, and the facility. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, and calm, professional responses to security concerns. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:15 PM. The pay rate is $17.54 per hour. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and are subject to background investigation and drug screening. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and carrying out appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor and contractor activity according to site policies.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while maintaining a professional presence that helps deter unauthorized activity.
