About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer for an assigned financial institution site in Stockton, California. The position provides a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow the employee to work up to 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to scale back. The listed pay rate is $24.00 per hour. The scheduled shift is Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–2:15 p.m.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred; licensing may be required before employment depending on state or local laws and regulations.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity at a financial institution, following entry, identification, and visitor-management procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
