About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed security officer for grounds checks at a financial institution in Chelsea, Massachusetts. The position provides reliable hours at an assigned site, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The designated weekly shift requires a six-month commitment. Employees may build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week and may scale back when needed. The pay rate is $23.00 per hour.

The scheduled shift is Thursday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. The role provides customer service and carries out security procedures, site-specific policies, patrols, and appropriate emergency response activities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, as permitted and required by applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
