About The Position

Security Guard Officers secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry. They respond to incidents by sounding alarms, reporting irregularities, informing violators of policies and procedures, restraining trespassers, identifying risks, and notifying appropriate management or 911/Police. Officers document observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, and maintain a written log of daily activities for each shift. The employer is seeking to hire up to 10 Guards in the City of Richardson. Morning, afternoon, and graveyard shifts are available.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old or meet the minimum age required by the State.
Have a valid Guard Card.
Possess strong English communication abilities, both written and oral.
Be responsible, flexible, and dependable.
Have access to reliable transportation.
Present a positive, confident, and professional image.
Successfully complete all training required for the position.
Demonstrate the ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
Be drug free.
