About The Position

The Security Guard Officer secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry. The officer reports irregularities, communicates policy and procedures to violators, restrains trespassers when needed, identifies risks, and notifies appropriate management or 911/Police. The role also involves sounding alarms to obtain help, recording observations and incidents, documenting surveillance activities, and maintaining a written log of daily activities for each shift.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old or meet the minimum age required by the state.
Have a valid Guard Card.
Have strong written and oral English communication skills.
Be responsible, flexible, and dependable.
Have access to reliable transportation.
Present a positive and confident professional image.
Successfully complete all training required for the position.
Be able to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
Be drug-free.
