About The Position

Hiring up to 10 security guards in the City of Parker. Morning, afternoon, and graveyard shifts are available. Security officers help secure premises and personnel through patrols, surveillance monitoring, building and access-point inspections, and entry control. They respond to alarms, report irregularities and risks, enforce policies, document observations and incidents, and maintain a written log of daily activities for each shift.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old or meet the minimum age required by the state.
Have a valid Guard Card.
Have strong written and oral English communication abilities.
Be responsible, flexible, and dependable.
Have access to reliable transportation.
Present a positive and confident professional image.
Successfully complete all training required for the position.
Be able to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
Be drug free.

Responsibilities

Patrol property to secure premises and personnel.
Monitor surveillance equipment.
Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points.
Permit entry to authorized individuals.
Sound alarms to obtain help when needed.
Report irregularities, losses, damage, and risks to appropriate management or 911/police.
Inform policy violators of procedures and restrain trespassers when necessary.
Record observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities in reports.
Maintain a written log of daily activities for each shift.
