About The Position

Marksman Security is hiring a Security Operations Manager in El Segundo, California. The role leads security operations and personnel, supports client relationships, ensures contractual compliance, and oversees operational reporting. The manager directs and mentors field supervisors, site supervisors, and security personnel; manages security and administrative platforms; conducts audits and inspections; and coordinates business reviews. The position requires security operations management experience, emergency response expertise, and an active California BSIS Guard Card.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in security operations management or an equivalent field.
Extensive expertise in incident command and emergency response coordination.
Proven track record managing large security teams and developing subordinate leaders.
Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field.
Active California BSIS Guard Card.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, access control systems, surveillance technology, and core security platforms.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain decisive and composed under pressure during high-stress situations.
Skills in personnel management, conflict resolution, and enhancing team morale.
Strategic mindset focused on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Commitment to building client relationships based on transparency, integrity, and accountability.

Responsibilities

Direct, mentor, and oversee Security Field Supervisors, Site supervisors, and security personnel.
Address employee concerns, grievances, and performance issues, implement action plans, and develop team members for career advancement.
Manage WinTeam, TrackTik, eHub, Microsoft Office 365, and Google Forms.
Conduct security audits and post inspections, manage patrols, monitor communications, and ensure compliance with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Deliver detailed operational reporting and performance metrics for quarterly business reviews.
Build and maintain professional partnerships with client stakeholders and security leadership.
