About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring SOC Operators in Huntsville, AL. As a SOC (Security Operations Center) Operator, you will monitor security systems, surveillance cameras, and alarm activity to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients. This position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to respond quickly and professionally to security events. Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic to intermediate computer skills
Ability to multitask and remain focused for extended periods
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Reliable transportation and means of communication
Must meet all preemployment requirements

Nice To Haves

Prior security, dispatch, monitoring, or control room experience preferred
Experience with Lenel or similar access control systems preferred

Responsibilities

Monitor live and recorded surveillance camera systems
Investigate and respond to alarm activity and system alerts
Utilize Lenel access control and security management software
Dispatch appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed
Document incidents accurately and thoroughly in reporting systems
Communicate professionally with clients, site personnel, and management
Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions
Maintain situational awareness in a fast-paced operations center environment
Participate in required training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals
