About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Santa Rosa, California, you will help safeguard clients at a healthcare location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide courteous assistance to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to evolving situations, and support a welcoming environment. The position is full-time and pays $25.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and adherence to facility entry procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal reporting requirements.
