About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer in Goodyear, Arizona. The officer will monitor and patrol a data center location, maintain a visible security presence, conduct routine rounds, observe and report unusual activity, support access-control procedures, and provide customer service. The position pays $23.00 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role and have a high school diploma or equivalent. A background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen are conditions of employment. Licensing requirements depend on applicable state and local laws.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law as a condition of employment.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment, if required.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including data center grounds and access points.
Monitor access activity and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
