Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol
About The Position
As a full-time unarmed patrol officer in Larchmont, New York, you will safeguard a school location by maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine and random patrols, observe and report unusual activity, support access control, and provide professional customer service and communication to students, staff, and visitors. The role involves carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, responding calmly to incidents and critical situations, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The pay rate is $22.12–$23.12 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local regulations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
