About The Position

As a Security Officer in Wahiawa, Hawaii, you will safeguard clients at a food and beverage location by supporting a welcoming environment, monitoring access, screening visitors and employees, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide customer service and clear communication while remaining visible to help deter incidents. This is a full-time position paying $18.12 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, Tuesday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, Friday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, and Sunday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Customer service experience and a guard card or license are preferred. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements vary by state and local law and may need to be met before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Screen individuals, packages, bags, and deliveries entering designated areas, escalating prohibited items or unusual activity as directed.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to identify and report security-related concerns.
