About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Mabelvale, Arkansas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will manage facility entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role involves providing customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel. The schedule listed is Monday and Tuesday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. Pay is $15.24 per hour, with weekly pay.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor and control facility access by checking credentials, maintaining visitor and vehicle entry records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
Verify inbound and outbound vehicle access in accordance with site procedures, and report discrepancies, unauthorized access attempts, or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, contacting site leadership or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
