About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Wichita Falls, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as logistics and distribution. At a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening individuals and/or items, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting efficient operations. This is a full-time position paying $16.82 per hour, with shifts Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Screen packages, freight, and other items according to established site procedures; identify and report prohibited, damaged, or suspicious items for further review.
Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and visitor activity to support controlled entry and orderly operations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, including loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter.
