About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Sweetwater, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. The role involves providing customer service, communicating clearly, and helping deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. The position is full time and pays $18.50 per hour, with weekly pay.

The schedule is Tuesday and Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Possess a valid driver's license only if working in a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by following site-specific security procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the facility, inspect inbound and outbound traffic as required by site procedures, and report irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established site procedures and notifying designated contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
