About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Inspection in Forest, Mississippi, at a food and beverage production location. The role provides a designated site and fixed weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow hours to vary from part time to as many as 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The stated pay rate is $15.66 per hour. The scheduled shift is Wednesday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

The officer provides customer service and carries out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities. Duties include responding to incidents and alarms, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access, maintaining logs, and reporting hazards or unusual activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain required logs and documentation.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
