About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Patrol Inspection in West Point, Georgia, to serve and safeguard clients at an automotive location. The unarmed patrol officer monitors and patrols assigned areas, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, supports a welcoming environment for employees and visitors, and provides customer service. The role involves communicating clearly and documenting security-related activity using computer or tablet technology. Scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations before employment, if required.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of parking areas, vehicle storage areas, buildings, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor and report unusual conditions, damaged property, suspicious activity, and potential hazards in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
