About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a food and beverage location in Carthage, Mississippi. The officer will serve and safeguard the client by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, and providing professional customer service. The role includes overnight shifts on Monday and Thursday, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, at a pay rate of $15.66 per hour. The officer will follow site-specific procedures and policies, respond professionally to incidents and alarms, and report observations and concerns. The position may involve emergency response activities when appropriate. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Experience with access control and badge systems.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and document observations and actions according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production-area access points, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and reporting access-control concerns to site leadership.
Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, spills, or hazards that may affect operations or personnel.
