Security Officer Inspection Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Inspection Patrol Security Officer in Saint Charles, Missouri, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role calls for exceptional customer service, clear communication, and professional responses to site needs while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $18.19 per hour. Employment is conditional on applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements. Licensing may be required under state or local regulations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond professionally and calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating issues according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic; support compliance with site entry procedures and maintain accurate activity reports.
- Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership about incidents, observations, and security-related needs.
