About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a government facility in Austin, Texas, you will help safeguard the site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access-control activities, and providing customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public. You will communicate professionally, respond to incidents, and use technology to document observations in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal policies.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or public response personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, public areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and visitor and employee activity; report suspicious behavior, hazardous conditions, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence and following company and site policies.
